Bharat Fritz Werner (BFW) was established in techno-commercial collaboration with the German company, Fritz Werner Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH. Over the years a strong research and development unit grew within BFW. BFW started building world class machines. The factory is located on a large plot, but the built-up portion has been kept deliberately small. The rest of the area is devoted to sprawling gardens, green house, and ponds.
