Visual communication in a developing country with its varied cultural heritage has a vital role to play in the national development. The emphasis is on meeting the unmet communication needs for the community, for which normally resources are not readily available. The programme envisages developing graduates with better maturity in handling communication design problems, a deeper understanding of aesthetic aspects, and generating methods and processes for solving communication problems. The emphasis is to become a creative problem solver who can effectively use various design methods. The course is at an advance level to create visual communication designer with greater analytical and problem solving capabilities.
The students are given opportunities to learn new skills and to advance their level of understanding. They can also specialize in one of the many areas of visual communication like typography, information visualization, interaction design, video/film making, exhibition design, animation, photography, etc.Design and research work are directed at improving and advancing the current state of visual communication in the country. The preference during the programme is for doing work of permanent value.
Interaction Design; The Interaction Design program in IDC will strive to create people with expertise who will eventually emerge as leaders to influence the future of interaction design. It will create graduates with good analytical abilities, skilled with specific techniques, creative in their solutions, sensitive in their approach and knowledgeable about current developments in using new emerging technologies and exploring new medias. The program will focus on interactive medias, mobile communication applications, interfaces for software applications, interactive gaming and learning applications.
The program will have a specific focus on the needs of Indian users and the Indian industry.The students will have access to cutting edge IT capabilities, prototying technologies and the proximity to other engineering disciplines which would facilitate cross disciplinary and collaborative projects.The course contents of the proposed program have been designed to leverage the strength of IDC's current courses, complimented with additional courses to meet the new requirements.

We had even obtained ISI Mark for our Engine Lubricating Oil after conducting performance tests at Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehra Dun. Our re-refined Engine Lubricating Oil was successfully performance tested TWICE at Lubrizols Laboratory in OHIO. USA
We also manufacture our own Automotive & Industrial Lubricating Oils and market them underthe brand name of “SHAKTEE”, using Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Base Oils andAdditive packages from Lubrizol India Ltd as well as Indian Additives Ltd.Re-refining of used Lubricating Oils; Lubricating oil does not wear out but the chemical additives does. The Lubricating oil only gets contaminated with extraneous matters, hence, after re-refining. it can be used over & over againfor the same purpose.
Being pioneer in re-refining of all types of used Lubricating Oils, with establishment of our unit ,having conventional Acid Clay process. Since the waste of this process has no ideal & safe disposal,we have over a period of time developed and changed over to High Temperature High VacuumDistillation unit. Not only the quality of the product matches absolutely with the virgin oil specification, the recovery of oil is also highest possible as there is only carbon particles remains as residue.We are redistlling used Rolling Oils for Indian Aluminium Ltd to their original specification and Engine &Gear Oils for BEST Undertakings, (Mumbai Buses). We have re-refined Lubricating oils for BARC, Larson & Toubro Ltd, Bharat Forge Ltd, Ramon & Demm Ltd, M.S.R.T.C and Thermic Oils for Telco,Pune and practically all the Textile Mills & Chemical plants of Mumbai, Vapi, Surat and Ahmedabad.We also render services of testing the used Thermic Oil to monitor the condition of the oil and issue our report.

The Directorate General of Employment & Training, New Delhi (D.G.E.&T.) of the Ministry of Labour is to provide the Skilled Man-Power with Vocational Training for the Various Industries & Service Sectors. It is being Conducted at Different I.T.I.s including INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, HIMATNAGAR.
Industrial Training Institute, Himmatnagar, Sabarkantha under the Directorate of Employment & Training, Gandhinagar was initially set-up in the intake capacity of sixty four trainees in four trades at pratap palace, nyay mandir , Himmatnagar (sabarkantha). The institute is at present the institute have cap of four hundred and ninety two seats in twelve trades. The institute is running in it's new Government Building.
The Institute is engaged in imparting training in scheme of NCVT, GCVT courses. The batches under NCVT pattern are affiliated. The institute is functioning in three shifts commencing from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Also short terms Pattern Courses like driving school, sewing machine operator (apparel park), mobile repairing, MS-Office etc. are taught in the institute. The Institute is not only engaged in training activities but also performing successful activities such as Blood Donation Camp, Apprenticeship fair, Motivation Campaign, Entrepreneurship Campaign, Campus Interview as Sports Activities, Cultural activities, religions activities etc. More over English Is taught to all trades trainees to improve their communication skill in English and to get enough knowledge of English which is necessary in industrialization.

TENNESSEE TRAINING SERVICE

The State of Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Industrial Training Service offers the following training services for new or expanding industries to meet their individual needs and requirements.Pre-employment Training: Special programs are designed which focus on developing basic skills for new employees, such as quality control, applied mathematics, blueprint reading, measuring instruments, safety, and production procedures. Other items may be added at the company's discretion.
Participants are not yet company employees but are taking training with the possibility of becoming employed. The program permits the development of basic employability skills and allows the company to observe and evaluate program participants for improved employee selection and placement in the job best suited to the employees. In addition, program participants may decide whether or not they desire to do the type of work provided by the company.
On-the-job Training: This program offers on-the-job development of specific skills and knowledge under actual production conditions. Instruction is based upon a thorough task analysis conducted by the Industrial Training Service to insure proper training on-the-job and to serve as a basis for progress evaluation. Training is provided by company technicians or instructors mutually acceptable by the Industrial Training Service and the company.
First-Line and Second-Line Training: Training is offered to existing personnel at the first-line and second-line level. The program is designed for persons who have been promoted from the technical work level to supervision and for those who will receive promotions. The course is tailored to specific company procedures and management style focusing on basic principles of supervision, roles, and responsibilities.
Job Instructor Training: Additional courses for supervisors are offered on a company request basis entitled Job Instructor Training (J. I. T.). The new or potential supervisor is given actual experience for teaching workers how to perform their jobs under production conditions. Emphasis in the J.I.T. program is on organizing instructional material, presenting the material, demonstrating proper performance of a task, and evaluating and correcting the new employee's performance.
Training For Unique Equipment and Processes: In some cases, training programs are developed for companies involved in new equipment or processes in their new plant or expansion. The Industrial Training Service will assist in developing the training of key personnel to the point that they become competent and can teach other personnel in the plant. These programs may be conducted in-plant or at other locations having the unique equipment or processes operating.
