Industrial Engineer

Our clients, a leading multinational FMCG company, are currently seeking to employ an Industrial Engineer with extensive experience in process and formulation projects within the food, dairy, pharmaceutical or similar industries.Reporting to the Head of Product Development for our client's New Zealand operations, this is a newly created role with a broad range of responsibilities covering systems, process and formulations improvements and from both strategic and first hand points of views.

Key responsibilities will include, but by no means be limited to, providing leadership and support to improvement project teams, controlling large project budgets, achieving significant cost savings through refinement and improvement of processes and providing strategy papers to sell improvement projects to senior management.In a role which coordinates with a large number of departments associated with our clients manufacturing site you, the incumbent, will have a proven ability to build and maintain strong professional working relationships with the ability to speak the technical languages associated with each department. To be considered a serious candidate for this role you should have:A tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or similar ,A minimum of five years practical experience within an Industrial Engineering role in either the Food, Dairy or Pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.

Proven ability to manage large process improvement projects, Budget management experience, Formulation experience, Proven interpersonal and communication skills, A strong business acumen.This is a unique opportunity for a qualified Industrial Engineer to develop a new and exciting role with a large multinational company, and in a desirable lifestyle location.
