Types of Industrial Effluent Treatment Plants

Akar has supplied such units to may countries including India. The APPSET system consists of a series of chemical reaction tanks working in series to separate or neutralize toxic polluting contaminants including paint in effluent. The process is rather complicated and may vary from effluent to effluent.
Akar has supplied innumerable industrial effluent treatment plant for treating waste water of textile dyeing industries all over the world particularly in Asia pacific region. There may be approximately fifty plants operating all over the world including in India. Colour removal is one of the most complex process involved in textile dyeing waste water treatment and Akar has been successful in doing this. Different processes and treatment methods are used to treat waste water for textile dyeing industries.
Akar has gained expertise in this direction. Dairy raw wastewater is characterized by high concentrations and fluctuations of organic matter and nutrient loads related to the production cycle and machinery washing. The treatment of dairy effluent is typical also because of high fluctuations in quality and quantities of effluent at different times. Depending upon the product range the concentrations of effluent may vary from one dairy to another.
Akar has supplied many dairy waste water treatment plants. Akar has also supplied equipment such as clarifiers, aerators, screens, settling tanks etc. for dairy waste water treatment plant applications. Leather effluent water treatment is a complex subject. Leather effluent water contains many types of contaminants including chrome and other materials.
Many times recovery of chrome is an integral part of such a treatment plant. The leather effluent treatment plant needs primary as well as secondary treatment. Akar has executed several projects for leather processing/tannery effluent treatment plants in India and overseas.
